Connecting AI agents to your systems using the Model Context Protocol

Overview

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a new open standard to connect AI agents with external tools and data. It makes it possible for agents in your applications or in your development process to work with APIs, databases, and services in a structured way. In this session we explain what MCP is and how it supports building useful agents for software teams. We will also show step by step how to build your own MCP server using .NET and C#, so you can bring custom functionality into your own AI agents.
